Na comemoração do Ano Internacional da Luz, a Culturgest associa-se uma vez mais à Semana Acesso Cultura, convidando o público a visitar o lado menos conhecido das suas Galerias de arte e do Grande Auditório.

Nas Galerias faremos uma pequena demonstração dos projetores específicos para espaços de exposição, a forma como são utilizados e os cuidados a ter na iluminação de obras de arte.

No palco do Grande Auditório poderá conhecer os projetores usados nos espetáculos e saber como são criados os efeitos de luz.

Poderá ainda assistir a um ensaio aberto do espetáculo Metamorfose III, que resulta de um workshop de sonorização e iluminação cénica, com residência artística de cinco bailarinos finalistas da Escola Superior de Dança. A seguir ao ensaio o público será convidado a subir ao palco e os diversos efeitos cénicos serão repetidos e explicadas, podendo os espectadores interagir com os formandos e intérpretes.

As part of the commemorations of the International Year of Light, Culturgest will once again be associating itself with the "Culture Access Week", inviting the public to see one of the lesser known sides of its art galleries and the Main Auditorium. In the galleries, there will be a small demonstration of the spotlights used in exhibition spaces, showing how they work and the special care that is taken in illuminating works of art.

On the stage of the Main Auditorium, you will be able to see the spotlights used in performances and to learn about the way in which lighting effects are created. You will also have the chance to watch an open rehearsal of the show Metamorphosis III, which is the result of a workshop on stage lighting and sound, involving an artistic residency of five dancers from the final year of the course at the Escola Superior de Dança. Following the rehearsal, the public will be invited to come onto the stage, where the scenic effects will be repeated and explained to them, giving them the chance to interact with the trainees and the performers themselves.
